The Del Norte Senior Center's Information and Assistance program provides seniors and their families and caregivers connections to local community services and the assistance to help make the most of them. Whether you need a quick referral to a local service provider or assistance in navigating a complicated challenge, our Service Coordinator is committed to helping seniors to remain independent and connected to the community.
Lunch is available for curbside pickup between 11:30 and 12:00 Monday through Friday. Meals are freshly prepared on-site every day. Meals are currently available to those age 60 or older and their spouses. Those who are at high risk for curbside pickup may request meals be delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Home-bound seniors may qualify to have a meal delivered to their homes Monday through Friday. Home delivery participants enjoy the same hot, freshly-cooked meal served to our curbside pickup participants. To qualify, individuals must be 60 or older, unable to leave their home without assistance and unable to prepare their own meals.
For all meals, the suggested voluntary donation for those 60 and over is $3.00. Due to COVID-19 no-contact guidelines, donations are not accepted at the time of service. Donations and contributions may be made through our website by clicking the meal donation button above.
The Del Norte Senior Center offers a wide variety of opportunities to stay active and involved.
