The application must be completed, signed and returned to the Senior Center with a copy of your most recent energy bill as the first step in accessing services. Once we receive your completed application, we will contact you about the next steps in the process. The Del Norte Senior Center provides LIHEAP utility assistance services in Del Norte County. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Applications for assistance will be available during these hours. You can also download an application by clicking this link:
LIHEAP is a federal program that provides assistance to eligible low-income households to manage and meet their immediate home heating and/or cooling needs. For more information about this program, please visit the California Department of Community Services and Development website.
