SENIOR APARTMENT ONSITE RESPONSE SPECIALIST: Position Available July 1, 2018
The Onsite Response Specialist is a live-in position responsible for after-hours, weekend and holiday response to smoke alarms and resident pull-cord alarms, assessment of the need for assistance and provision of the necessary level of response. Position is also responsible for providing minor maintenance and cleanup services to alleviate immediate health or safety issues, prevent damage to property, and maintain a clean and pleasant living environment; responding to tenant complaints and mediating tenant conflicts as necessary to alleviate an immediate situation; enforcing House Rules and Pet Rules; and notifying management of all ongoing or addressed issues affecting the residents of Redwood Cove Senior Apartments.
HOME DELIVERED MEALS DRIVER:
The Home Delivered Meals Driver is responsible for assisting with packaging meals; delivering meals to homebound participants in the Title III home-delivered meals program; checking on the daily welfare of participants and reporting concerns back to the Nutrition Coordinator; conducting routine maintenance checks of home delivered meals vehicles and reporting service needs; and assisting the Nutrition Coordinator with statistical and recordkeeping tasks as necessary.
The Assistant Cook assists with food preparation; prepares desserts and salads; packages meals for home delivery; serves congregate (on-site) nutrition program meals; and assists with cleaning of the kitchen and all related equipment. Position assumes the duties of Head Cook in his or her absence. Prior experience working as a cook or prep cook in a restaurant or institutional setting is required.
ENERGY PROGRAM COORDINATOR/OCCUPANCY SPECIALIST:
This is a combined position responsible for initial and ongoing eligibility determination for Federally-funded energy assistance and HUD low-income senior housing programs. Under the supervision of the Program Manager and in cooperation with other staff, the position will recruit and screen applicants for program services; collect all required documentation; determine eligibility pursuant to program guidelines; maintain all program databases, client files and other required program records; and provide input on improvement of services. Prior experience determining eligibility for income-restricted programs is desirable.
